Express Entry and PNP is the most competitive process in the Canadian Immigration System. More than 90 thousand immigrants land in Canada through express entry every year. Canada is targeting 1.2 Million immigrants in the next 3 years via more than 34 different immigration streams.
Although there are 34 different immigration streams only a few are available to economic and Skills-based immigration. The two most common and easy to achieve are Express Entry and PNP stream. In this article, I am going to explain the Express Entry System and its requirements.
Who is eligible?
- A person with Foreign work skills with matching NOC codes in Canada. So first thing is to match your foreign work title with a Canadian job title and descriptions and find the correct NOC first.
- Education obtained except Canada and the USA needs to be evaluated (ECA – Education Credential Assessment) from third-party organizations. Only two accepted organizations to do this evaluation is – ECE and WES. (Bangladeshi Masters Degree is equivalent to Canadian 4 years Bachelors Degree and A Bangladeshi 4 years Bachelors degree is equivalent to a Canadian 3-years Diploma)
- IELTS or TOEFL or CLB approved English proficiency certificate.
- Applicant must be under 49 and above 21 years of age

CRS ( Comprehensive Ranking System)
Use variety of combinatins. For example: lower down and up your english scores and find out the difference in crs scores. For federal immigration through express entry a 465+ CRS point is a very good one.
IELTS score for example : (Listening: 8, Reading: 7, Writing: 7, Speaking: 7) will give you much higher score than (Listening: 8, Reading: 7, Writing: 6.5, Speaking: 7)
